Cocktails You Can Eat? Salmon Guru Dubai Turns Drinks Into Edible Art

You might want to think again if you think you’ve seen and done everything Dubai’s bars have to offer. Salmon Guru Dubai no longer serves cocktails only in glasses; you can eat them. The award-winning bar, which started in Madrid, has made its famous ‘Eat Your Cocktail’ experience bigger, bolder and a little more fun than it used to be.

This offering isn’t your normal tasting menu. Guests don’t drink cocktails; instead, they eat them. Think of bites that are full of flavour and look like classic drinks but have a twist to how they taste and look.

The new experience now has five edible cocktails, including a new drink called the Curry Colada. It joins old favourites like Mad Bunny, Inspiration Paloma, Ultramarino, and Tutti Frutti Daiquiri.

They are all made with care using methods like freezing, spherification, and chocolate moulding. What’s new? It looks like dessert, feels like a snack, and tastes like your favourite drink.

Not Just A Gimmick

It sounds fun, and it is, but there’s a lot of skill behind it.

Each bite has layers. Sweet, sharp, creamy, and sometimes even fizzy. It’s not just about trying new things; it’s about finding new ways to enjoy cocktails.

The press release says that the idea blurs the lines between the kitchen and the bar, making mixology something you can enjoy eating, not just drinking.

Food That Goes Well With Drinks

The update isn’t just about drinks.

There’s now a curated food pairing menu to go with it. Expect dishes like Yellowtail Crispy Nigiri, Crispy Nori Taco, Patatas Bravas, and Oxtail Croquette.

These aren’t things you think about later. They are made to complement the flavours of the edible cocktails, which keep them balanced and grounded

What To Know Before You Visit

The experience happens every day from 6 PM to 8 PM and costs AED 350 per person. There can only be six guests at a time, which makes it more personal and interactive.

Dinner will not be quick. It’s a slow, curious evening. You’ll probably spend half of it trying to figure out how what you’re eating tastes like what you normally drink.
