Corona-Themed Board Can Be Played With Four Players At A Time

The corona board game can be played by four players at a time. As per the game, players compete to buy all the groceries on a shopping list for an elderly neighbour who is shielding against the virus. After collecting and swapping cards, the person who delivers all the items first wins the game. And what’s a game without some hurdles and adventure? Well, as per the game rules, each player has to pass some challenges. The hurdles include – encountering the virus, which sends you into quarantine, or finding that hoarders have already snapped up all the pasta or toilet rolls.

The Family Has Sold Over 2,000 Copies So Far And Is Looking Forward To Selling More

The sisters worked on the game most evenings during the spring lockdown, gradually including more elements from news broadcasts about the pandemic. And after seeing their sheer brilliance, their father Benedikt Schwaderlapp decided to commercialise the game by hiring an artist to design cards, the board and a box. So far he’s sold 2,000 copies and signed up a toy store as a secondary distributor. Demand for this game has been massive from across Germany.
