Cosmic Glow: Jebel Hafit Brings Stargazing, Archaeology, Neon Fun & More For Just AED 104!

What do you get when you mix ancient tombs, neon outfits, starry skies, and grilled skewers? No, not a very niche fantasy film, just a wild and wonderful evening at Cosmic Glow, a three-part stargazing series lighting up Jebel Hafit Desert Park this April and May. It’s all happening on 19 April, 26 April, and 3 May 2025, from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM. If you’ve got even a hint of curiosity (or just want a good Instagram post), this one’s for you.

Cosmic Glow: Starry Nights & Glowy Delights At Jebel Hafit

Set against the majestic Jebel Hafit mountain range, this event is the desert’s answer to a celestial rave minus the DJ, but with added archaeology. The lineup? You’ll fall in love.

You’ll spy on Saturn’s rings through powerful telescopes, get schooled on planets by astronomers from Al Sadeem Observatory, and dabble in UV painting and screen-printing workshops inspired by Arab astronomy. (Yes, bring your T-shirt and turn it into an intergalactic masterpiece. If not, they’ve got spares.)

Now, let’s talk about surprises. Think glow-in-the-dark artwork, hands-on stargazing, and interactive drumming circles that’ll have your inner space geek clapping in rhythm.

And the real scene-stealer? The Night Archaeology Tour. It’s led by a local expert who’ll guide you through ancient tombs and ruins under the moonlight. If history lessons always had this kind of vibe, we’d all have top grades.

Neon Dress Code & Campfire Cuisine

Glow-in-the-dark makeup, UV-reactive clothes, neon everything to go wild. You’ll be a walking constellation.

Need fuel for your cosmic adventure? Pre-book a curated F&B bundle by Cucina del Sul with grilled skewers, fresh salads, open-fire sides, snacks for the mini astronauts, and live kaak (Lebanese bread) stations. Just don’t show up hangry. Book in advance so they can prep your feast.

And if the idea of driving home ruins your post-stargazing buzz, don’t. Stay the night. Camp beneath the stars or go glam with Pura Eco Retreat’s luxury tents. Either way, you’ll fall asleep under the sky. Whether you come for the stars or stay for the kaak, you’ll leave with starry eyes and sandy shoes. Go on, make your calendar jealous.
