Summer break is officially almost here, and just before it can begin, the Eid al-Adha long weekend coincides perfectly; adding an extra number of holidays. As a result, many people have already made plans or are in the process of planning to travel to a new destination with their loved ones for a memorable vacation. As a result, flydubai, a Dubai-based carrier is planning to introduce a bunch of new routes for what is touted to be, its busiest summer to date.

Around 4.5M Passengers Travelling With flydubai This Summer!

It is expected that around 4.5 million passengers are expected to travel between June 1 and September 13 across the growing network of flydubai. For those who aren’t aware, this is a Dubai-based budget carrier, and the airline is preparing for its busiest summer to date! This also reflects that there is been an increased demand for travel and of course, the confidence of the passengers in the services of the airline. As it happens, currently the carrier offers passengers to travel to 117 destinations in 52 countries, which include Krabi, Neom, Pattaya, and St Petersburg. In fact, the airline also plans to begin nine seasonal summer destinations from June 21 onwards!

There’s Increased Capacity Between June 1 & September 30

Yes, according to a report by Gulf News, flydubai has increased its capacity by 33% between June 1 and September 30. Moreover, it has also increased its capacity by 20% on a bunch of destinations to accommodate the demand for travel during the Eid al-Adha holiday period, between June 24 and July 2. These destinations include Colombo, Male, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Baku, Beirut, and Zanzibar

Moreover, coming towards its European network, it is expected that August is going to be the busiest month as there is an average of 9,400 flights scheduled per month between June 1 and September 30. In order to meet this demand, the airline is adding these destinations to its network for some time.
