UAE Authorities have said that vehicle fires are generally caused by avoiding safety and prevention measures. To avoid this fire, you must follow these practices – Check for oil leakages, electrical & technical faults, tyre pressure, and air conditioning systems. You should also ensure there is proper functioning of engine components and monitor any unusual smell, smoke, or even warning signs from your vehicle. Finally, avoid overloading your vehicle, don’t leave flammable materials inside parked cars, and don’t leave electrical devices or any flammable materials exposed.

Kapil Sharma is a wildly, famous Indian comedian who is known for leaving his audience in splits with humorous jokes. And now, you also have a chance to laugh out loud with him as he is coming live at the Coca-Cola Arena in Dubai. 3. An Interactive Playground To Open Soon In Dubai

In a report by the National News, it was mentioned that the Dubai Culture and Art Jameel are commissioning an interactive playground. This will be built on the Jaddaf Waterfront Sculpture Park and the large-scale sculpture will open to the public during the autumn season. Moreover, this project is also a part of the Dubai Public Art initiative that aims to enrich Dubai’s artistic identity.

ALBAIK hardly needs any introduction to foodies who love to devour fried chicken. This Saudi Arabian fried chicken brand has 9 branches in the UAE with five in Dubai. And now, the Saudi Arabian fried chicken brand is going to be opening its sixth outlet in the oldest neighbourhood of Dubai, Satwa. In fact, there is also buzz about another branch opening in Abu Dhabi as well, which would make it the brand’s 11th outlet in the UAE.

Indie Vibes is a nostalgia-filled concert that will feature your favourite artists, like Jay Sean, RDB, Raghav, and Juggy D. 6. You Can Get A Refund On Your eDirham Cards

For those of you who aren’t well, eDirham Cards were quite common in the early 2000s. However, it was later deactivated in 2022, when services like GooglePay & Apple Wallet came into being. However, if you still have an outstanding balance on your eDirham Card(s), you are now eligible for a refund. For this, all you need to do is log on to the MOF (UAE’s Ministry of Finance) website using UAEPASS and submit a refund request with all the required documents. Once this is processed, the balance of this card will be issued by First Abu Dhabi Bank.

7. Popular Restauranteur, Burak Ozdemir Allegedly Sues Father For Fraud

Popular restauranteur, Burak Ozdemir, hardly needs any introduction to anyone. After all, his Reels of making outrageously huge dishes have quite often popped up on our search feed. However, according to a report by Khaleej Times, it was revealed that he is apparently suing his father for fraud and exploitation of his name. Going by the report, it was revealed that his father had sold the rights to his name to others, which allowed people to open chains of his restaurant that did not belong to him. At this point, it should be noted that the court hearing date is supposedly set for September. It so happens, he is also opening his first restaurant in Istanbul during the same month!

8. Qatar Airways Launches First Direct Flight From Doha To Toulouse

Qatar Airways revealed that it will launch its Doha to Toulouse direct A330 flights. It should be noted that the new route will be serviced on a tri-weekly basis. And the flights will be leaving Doha early in the morning on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday.

9. Abu Dhabi Authority Closes A Grocery Store Over Food Safety Violations

Abu Dhabi Agriculture And Food Safety Authority is quite strict about food safety offences. And recently, Green House Baqala, a grocery store was closed for repeated food safety violations. It was revealed that the closure happened due to high-risk violations and the failure to abide by the food safety requirements. However, it should be noted that the authority did mention that this closure will remain in place until all the necessary requirements for ensuring food safety are met.

10. Dubai Culture Launches Open Call For Its Al Marmoom Short-Film Competition

Dubai Culture took to its Twitter account to announce that it has launched an open call for its Al Marmoom Short-Film Competition. The application process for the competition is already open and will remain so till October 1, 2023. After this, a dedicated committee of experienced directors, experts, and filmmakers will review and evaluate all the applications and films. It should be mentioned that this competition is being held as a part of the third edition of the Al Marmoom: Film in the Desert Festival. As a result, it is inviting aspiring filmmakers to showcase their storytelling skills.
