1. Akasa Air Begins Flights To Abu Dhabi

After the much-awaited announcement by Akasa Air, it would be starting direct daily flights between India and UAE, the inaugural flight finally took off. Yes, the inaugural flight took off from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport on July 11 at 5:05 PM IST and was scheduled to arrive at Abu Dhabi’s Zayed International Airport at 6:50 PM AST. The launch of this flight provides travellers with more choices of flights that are affordable as well.

2. Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Attends Graduation At Joint Command & Staff College

HH Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan attended the graduation ceremony for the 33rd joint course at Joint Command and Staff College. This ceremony happened in Abu Dhabi and honoured outstanding officers and graduates from the UAE and other nations as well. Thereby, wishing them a successful military career.

3. Turkish Airlines Begins Flights To Turin

Turkish Airlines has begun flights from Istanbul to town. These flights commence on July 10 and it will be flying from Istanbul to Turin on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. While it will be flying from Turin to Istanbul on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays. As it happens, it has become the ninth destination to be added to the airline’s network in Italy.

4. Dubai RTA Awarded Green World Award

The Dubai RTA recently revealed that it has been awarded the Green World Award. The war has been given for the Route 2020 project and the prestigious award recognises the authority’s outstanding achievements in environmental performances.

Not to mention, they’ve also recognised their achievement in effective resource use, Carbon reduction, and support of sustainable development goals. Were you aware that the Route 2020 project has contributed to reducing 35,319 tonnes of carbon emissions? Well, they’ve also helped in implementing the best practices for conserving the environment.

5. Emirates Opens Premium Lounge At Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport

Emirates has revealed its premium lounge in Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport. The brand-new lounge is the first and only dedicated premium lounge in the region that’s outside Dubai. Allowing travellers to fly in style, the lounge is furnished with modish furniture and is spread across 900 square metres. It’s worth mentioning that it can accommodate 190 guests at a time.

6. Saudia Adds More Flights To Aseer

Just as the Aseer Season begins, Saudia, which is the flag carrier of Saudi Arabia has added more flights to Abha. Yes, Abha, which is one of the key cities in the region, will now have more flights from the cities of Riyadh and Jeddah. This is a total of 19 daily flights, which will allow people to enjoy their summer at the season.

7. Five Guys Opens At DXB

After the announcement, Five Guys has finally arrived at Dubai International Airport. They are serving drool-worth burgers and also offer an extensive breakfast menu that allows travellers to eat properly before they can fly. It’s worth mentioning that the breakfast menu is available from 4 AM to 11 AM. Not to mention, they are located near B 10 at Terminal Three, if you want to check it out before you board the flight.

8. Dubai Municipality Launches 4th Season Of Summer Camp

Dubai Municipality has launched the fourth season of summer camp. Yes, the summer camp was launched in Children’s City and will be running till August 2. With the team of Sustainable Summer, the summer camp is seeing an active participation of around 90 children. In fact, these children are aged between 7 and 12 years.

9. Diriyah Co. Signs Construction Contract With China State Construction

The company recently signed a construction contract for the development of a Northern Mixed-Use District. Designed this contract with El Seif Engineering Contracting and China State Construction. It’s the largest contract within the area and aims to redefine industry standards. While fostering sustainable growth, the construction is expected to begin in quarter 3 of 2024. Not to mention, the construction is valued at $2 billion.

10. One Za’abeel Wins Two Awards

One Za’abeel, which is a renowned skyscraper in Dubai recently won two awards of excellence. This recognition was granted by the council on tall buildings and urban habitats. The development received the awards in the categories of Best Tall Building, 300 Meters & Above 2024 and Best Tall Building In The Middle East & Africa 2024.
