1. World’s Largest Car Market In Dubai

Recently Maktoum Bin Mohammed revealed that under the vision of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Dubai Municipality and DP World signed a partnership. This partnership aims to develop the largest and the best car market in the world in Dubai. Covering an area of 20 million square feet, the new market will have innovative government and banking services. Not to mention, these will be connected to global markets through the DP World network.

2. Fourth Edition Of Art Here 2024 Artists Announced

The shortlisted artists for the fourth edition of the Art Here 2024 exhibition and Richard Mille Art Prize have been announced. Yes, this announcement was made by Louvre Abu Dhabi and Richard Mille. This helps in supporting the regional art scene by empowering local and regional artists with a platform for their talented work. In fact, the jury for this year’s edition has expanded to North Africa besides the Gulf region.

3. NCW Launches Survey

The National Centre for Wildlife Development has launched a survey of the Red Sea’s Crown of Thorn Starfish. The authority in Saudi Arabia has done this to understand and manage any future outbreak of coral-eating species. Not to mention, they have collaborated with experts from around the world to develop protocols that will help in detecting any outbreaks or even identify the best way to control the damage to the coral reefs.

4. Dubai Bus On Demand In 2 More Locations

Recently, the Dubai RTA took its official X account to announce that the bus on-demand service is available in Al Rigga and Port Saeed. So all you need to do is just set your destination and request a bus in advance. Not to mention, this can be done through the Dubai bus on-demand app, which is an official app by the RTA.

5. Premier Paddle P1 Tournament Dates Announced

The Premier Paddle P1 Tournament dates have been announced. Yes, as announced on the X account of the Dubai Calendar, this tournament will be happening from November 3-10 at the Dubai Duty-Free Tennis Stadium. You can get to witness top players like Arturo Coello and Arian Sanchez, who will be competing for the prize across six courts. 6. Dubai RTA Shares It Has Conducted Survey In Several Schools

The Dubai RTA has announced that it has delivered traffic safety awareness messages to more than 3,50,000 students. These numbers are across the schools in Dubai and they have also organised several educational events, which saw the participation of more than 15,000 students. The events have been held in 50 schools in Dubai throughout the academic year of 2023-2024.

7. Overview Of Integrated Transport System For 2023-24

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah revealed the data for the integrated system serving pilgrims. In an overview of the season, it was revealed that the integrated transport system, which includes Holy Sites Train and Haramain High-Speed Railway operated 5,692 trips. In fact, over 3 million seats were provided to pilgrims for air transport and more than 22,000 buses were deployed. Not only this, over 5 billion litres of water was distributed to Mecca and the holy sites and the average stay in Makkah was for 57 days.

8. Kiswa To Be Changed On Muharram 1

The intricate black cloth, which covers the Kaaba in Makkah is going to be replaced. Yes, this will happen on Muharram 1, which marks the beginning of the Hijri New Year. The kiswa will be attached from above after which, ropes of the old cloth will be loose. For this purpose, more than 200 craftsmen and administrators work at the King Abdulaziz Complex for Holy Kaaba Kiswa.

9. ADNOC Building Lights Up For 4th Of July

The USA celebrates the Fourth of July, which is their Independence Day. And in the commotion of the historic day, the ADNOC building let up in the colours of the US flag. For those who aren’t aware, Fourth of July is a US National Holiday, which commemorates the ratification of the Declaration of Independence.

10. Shatha Issa Kids Displayed At Harrods

Emirati designer Shatha Issa with the support of Dubai Culture has launched her new collection. The new collection is for children and it’s called ‘Shatha Issa Kids,’ which is the first local brand to display the products in Harrods. In case you aren’t aware, Harold is a famous department store that’s based in London. Not to mention, the body aims to invest in national energies and competencies in order to enhance its presence on the international scene.
