With the aim of moving out with major infrastructure projects, these are aimed at building a 1,000 km integrated network by 2030. As revealed by the Gulf News, the newly completed tracks form a big part of the wider master plan. It covers 15 routes that stretch 162 km. As it happens, the tracks have been designed to connect residential neighbourhoods with key commercial hubs and leisure destinations that are across the emirate. Moreover, the network also links corridors from Al Khawaneej to Al Mamzar Beach, Al Warqa’a to Saih Al Salam, and from the Dubai International Financial Centre to Jumeirah.
