1. Al Baladiya Opens Three New Parks
Ministry of Municipality opens three new public parks. These are Al Mishmoum, Al Khuzama, and Al Arak in Al Wakra and Al Wukair. As it happens, the parks feature green spaces, children’s play areas, walking tracks and offer the perfect recreational spaces for residents.
2. Al-Khabra Dates Season Receives Produce From Over 675 Farms
At the auction area of Al-Khabra and Riyadh Al-Khabra Dates Market, over 100,000 date palms produced across over 675 farms were received. This market saw daily attendance of farmers, traders, and shoppers, with marketing a growing activity; daily auction included over 50 varieties of dates. The most prominent ones happened to be Sukkari, Barhi, Shaqra, Ruthana, Khalas, Sagai, Halwa, and Maktoumi.
3. DXB Ranks At Top With 8.68 M Scheduled International Seats In September
DXB continues to retain its position as the world’s busiest airport for international traffic in September. The airlines have scheduled 4.34 million departing international seats for the month. As it happens, these are according to the aviation data provider OAG. Although it has topped, the international capacity is about 15% lower than in September 2025.

4. SalamAir Launches Inaugural Flight To Sylhet
SalamAir, which is a low-cost airline in Oman, has launched its first direct flight between Muscat and Sylhet in Bangladesh. It has become the third destination in Bangladesh to be serviced by the airline. Moreover, it further strengthen nternational connectivity to the country
5. Kuwait Ends Annual Ban On Mid-day Work Ban
Kuwait’s Public Authority for Manpower announced on September 1st that it has ended the annual ban on working in open outdoor areas. Workers were banned at unshaded sites from 11 AM to 4 PM between June 1st and August 31st. The authorities would continue to monitor compliance with occupational safety and health regulations.
