Talk about an unexpected visitor! Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic Mumbai home, Mannat, had two snakes reportedly spotted on its premises on August 17. A rescue operation was launched, and one of them turned out to be an 8-foot-long Dhaman, or Indian rat snake. The non-venomous snake was safely rescued and later released into its natural habitat.
2 Snakes Spotted At Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat In Mumbai
Two snakes were spotted in the lawn of Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat on August 17. One can’t help but notice the timing, with the incident taking place on Nag Panchami, which was observed on August 17 this year. According to India Today, a snake rescuer was called to the property after the reptiles were spotted around the lawn and courtyard area.
On reaching Mannat, rescuer Vicky Dubey found an approximately 8-foot-long Dhaman, or Indian rat snake, hiding under a staircase. The non-venomous snake was safely rescued and later released into its natural habitat in accordance with Forest Department guidelines.

One Reptile Still Missing!
But that wasn’t the end of the snake saga! While one reptile was safely rescued from Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat, the second snake reportedly escaped after people began moving around the property. A search was carried out, but it could not be traced.
The Forest Department was also informed about the rescue operation. Thankfully, the snake that was found was non-venomous, so there were no reports of any injuries or harm to the residents, staff or the reptile.
Earlier this year, Salman Khan’s Mumbai residence, Galaxy Apartment, also had an unexpected slithery visitor! A snake was reportedly spotted at the property and safely rescued by a snake wrangler, who was seen carefully handing it over to the authorities. Officials were also present at the apartment to assist with the rescue operation.
