A once-in decade “Ring of Fire” solar eclipse took place on June 21. India was one of the few countries that could witness this cosmic event. This day also happened to be the longest day of the year of the northern half of the earth, also known as Summer Solstice. The complete annular eclipse stood visible from parts of Africa, the Middle East and Asia throughout Sunday.
