Rovman Powell of the Delhi Capitals revealed a bizarre experience wherein he spent 2-3 days ‘in a towel’ after landing in Mumbai for the Indian Premier League 2022. He spoke of the incident at the Delhi Capital’s recent podcast. Powell said that the airlines had none of his luggage bags. As he only had his hand baggage, he had no extra clothing and spent around two-three days in his hotel room in a towel.
Powell praised the hotel for making him feel at home and for their services. He also added that his colleagues feel like family now. He also said that staying away from home takes a toll, but the hotel ensured everything is taken care of!
