On this delightful episode of Tere Gully Mein, we met the one-and-only Korean Bihari content creator, Yechan Lee. Though he was born in South Korea, Yechan Lee grew up in Patna where he learnt to speak fluent Bihari. He then garnered significant Internet renown as a Korean who speaks Bihari. With a guest as culturally diverse as him, how could the food trail be any less? We relished a wide range of dishes, from Delhi Street Chaat to Korean dishes. On top of that, Yechan also gave us some excellent Bihari food recommendations!
We Realished Delhi Street Chaat And Korean Dishes With Yechan Lee
We first explored a bit of the famous Lajpat Nagar Market with Yechan Lee. After shopping for some time, our tummies called for something delicious. We therefore went to the 70-year-old Chhole Kulche vendor, SiyaRam. The visuals of the spicy Kulche made our mouths water!
After this spicy snack, we sipped on some refreshing masaledar nimbu soda! What a treat! And finally, we concluded the chaat trail with a plate of piping hot Ram Laddus! But if you think that’s where we ended the peyt-pooja, you’re wrong.
After this, we walked around and chatted a bit more and made our way to Dal-Gruk, a Korean restaurant in Delhi. There, we feasted on staple Korean dishes like tteokkbokki, kimbap, bibimbap and a host of other banchan or side dishes like kimchi. The tantalising feast made our stomachs growl all over again!

Bihari Food Recommendations From A Korean!
We asked the culturally-Bihari-ethnically-Korean influencer if he had any Bihari food recommendations for us. He started with the obvious – Litti Chokha (no-brainer, duh). He also recommended Sattu kachori to us and we diligently noted it down!
It is clear that he loves Bihari cuisine to pieces and would comfortably have it whenever he could. In addition to these food-filled adventures, we also learnt a lot about his life, how Indians typically perceive him and other topics. If you wanna learn more, watch the episode!
