Delhi-Bound Air India Flight Lands In Jaipur

On September 13, Air India flight AI1886 was flying from Bhopal to Delhi when a technical issue was noticed. As per Times Now report, during the journey, the flight’s left engine was reportedly not working properly, so the flight was diverted to Jaipur for safety.

The Air India aircraft landed at Jaipur airport at around 9:40 AM. Soon after the aircraft landed, a full emergency was announced, and the aircraft was taken for detailed checks. Air India confirmed the technical issue and said that the aircraft was being checked to meet its safety standards. This affected the travel plans of passengers on board, so the ground team at Jaipur airport provided immediate assistance.

Passengers Travelled To Delhi By Road

Instead of an alternative flight, passengers travelled to Delhi by road. According to Times Now report, the passengers had already reached Delhi when the latest information was shared. However, the aircraft stayed at Jaipur airport for further checks and inspection.

Air India also apologised to the passengers for the inconvenience caused by the unexpected situation. The airline said it was making every effort to help the passengers reach Delhi as soon as possible. Technical issues can sometimes change a flight’s journey, leaving passengers frustrated, but safety remains the first priority. We hope airlines take the necessary steps to ensure that fewer flights are diverted or have to make emergency landings.
