The iconic Flurys was founded at 18, Park Street in 1927 by Mr and Mrs J. Flury. And within no time, it became a popular place to enjoy tea and cakes among the British and affluent Indians. For decades, this 99-year-old tearoom has become an important part of Kolkata’s culture and now has 100+ outlets across India. But now, it has expanded to North India with its standalone café at Galleria Market, Gurugram, Delhi-NCR.

The official Instagram page of Flurys took to the platform to make the grand announcement and wrote, “A new address and an experience you’ve always loved. Freshly baked delights, conversations over brews, comforting savouries, and Flurys moments that have always lasted a little longer. Now at Galleria Gurugram.”

And honestly, we can’t wait to visit and try what all they have in store for us. The aesthetic pink exterior and beautiful interiors are already making us plan a visit!

What Can You Eat At Flurys?

This legendary Swiss-style tearoom and confectionery is celebrated for its classic rum balls, traditional English breakfast, European-style pastries, rich chocolate cakes and puffs. And let’s not forget about their tea. It deserves a separate mention. It is comforting and soothing. You can choose from Assam Tea, Darjeeling Tea, Masala Tea and more. People who do not like tea can order matcha, cold coffee or a classic cappuccino.

Flurys in Delhi-NCR is going to be unlike the other trendy aesthetic cafes in Delhi and Gurugram. The cafe carries nearly 100 years of history, and the new outlet brings almost a century of Kolkata’s heritage, old-school recipes and the European tearoom experience to Delhi-NCR. And we are sure no other cafe offers quite the same experience.
