How The Restaurant Became Famous

But why did the restaurant become so popular? Nelson Wang, an Indian restaurateur born in Kolkata, revolutionised Indian-Chinese cuisine by inventing dishes never heard of before. The dish we commonly enjoy today, Chicken Manchurian, was first created in Nelson Wang’s kitchen when a customer asked for something unique and not on the menu. You thought it was a Chinese dish, right? But it is originally part of Indian cuisine. For vegetarians, a veg alternative also became popular: Gobi Manchurian, also invented by Master Chef Nelson Wang.

These little facts make us eager to visit the new restaurant in Punjabi Bagh. If you plan to go soon, make sure you try the specials on the menu like Chicken Manchurian, Salt and Pepper Turnip, Steamed Chilli Wantons, Prawn and Chicken Dim Sums, and Crispy Lotus Stem.
