Delhi’s Nightlife: Cafes At DDA Owned Complexes To Remain Open Till 1 Am From Wednesday During Festive Season

Delhi is known for the food joints that serve delicious food. Recently, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi, V K Saxena, has granted permission for the cafes and eateries to stay open till 1:00 am in the morning. With Christmas and New Year around the corner, it is presumably the best decision taken by him. Here are the details of the places where the eateries can remain open and the new look of Delhi’ nightlife.

Boosting Delhi’s Nightlife

The Delhi Development Authority owns Siri Fort Sports Complex, Bhalswa Golf Club, and Qutub Golf Club. The eateries at these complexes receive nearly a thousand customers on a daily basis. Moreover, due to the time restrictions, people would come between 9:00 pm to 11:00 pm. However, to promote Delhi’s nightlife and boost revenue of these cafes and restaurants, the Lieutenant Governor of Delhi has allowed them to extend their closing time to 1:00 am, in the morning. The timing couldn’t be more strategic.

The festive season is a one-time opportunity for these places to generate revenue. Further, to accommodate the coming surge of a massive crowd, the authorities are increasing the parking facilities and security.

Plan For Delhi

Lt.G V K Saxena has given work permits to various commercial establishments. Further, there is a plan for Delhi to have nightlife. Also, the authorities have drafted a policy to give restaurants permission to use the inner circle of Connaught Place for a specific time.

These new developments can attract the corporate population of Delhi and bring huge revenue for restaurants.
