Tejasswi Prakash started her acting journey in 2012 and has since been reaching new heights with each project she takes up. The last time we met her, she shared that she likes to invest in real estate and has been buying properties around Mumbai. Despite owning several houses in the city, she chooses to stay in the same home that she has been living in for the last 25 years with her parents. She also shared that she even has a house by Juhu Beach and is neighbours with Shilpa Shetty and Javed Akhtar. However, she has rented out that house for now.

We couldn’t help but ask why she decided to stay in her old house and not move into one of her newer houses. Tejasswi Prakash said, “That’s a house, this is home. It has meri mummy ka kitchen aur har saal thoda-thoda karke humne isse better kiya hai. A lot has gone into this house for me to find it in me to leave it. I have a lot of attachments and memories here. It feels like a house that has been lived in. No one feels awkward here.”

Tejasswi Prakash is one of the favourites in Celebrity MasterChef and has always impressed the judges with her creativity and flavours. But was she always interested in cooking? “Of course, mera interest tha, but I never really took it seriously. I didn’t know how to cook but because of the show and the training they gave us, I now know how to cook. I am so confident in my flavours. My respect for food has gone up, like tenfold!”

“I have always loved feeding people, I just never knew how to. Now, I know how to do that, and it has to be the biggest thing the show has given me. I am very happy that I did a show like MasterChef,” she added.
