Recently, he became the talk of the town because his last TV serial – ‘Tere Ishq Mein Ghayal’, is an apparent remake of the popular ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Karan Kundrra made his acting debut in 2009. Since then he hasn’t stopped wooing people with his talent and charismatic personality. We were completely taken aback when we found out that his career started on the platform of Facebook. So, we wanted to know how he bagged his first role through this social media app.

Surprisingly, Ekta Kapoor saw him on Facebook, when he sent her a friend request. Ekta was the one who got Balaji Telefilms Limited involved. She is the managing director and creative head for Balaji Telefilms Limited.
He was then offered a once-in-a-lifetime chance for an acting debut, and he hasn’t looked back since then. Gotta say we are thankful to Facebook as much as Karan is!
He Recently Finished Dubbing For A Film
Again, Ekta Kapoor reached out to Karan for a role in a film. He was overjoyed and would never back down from any offers from her. He told us that he was dubbing for the film’s trailer just before we started shooting the Tere Gully Mein episode. He said, “I saw the trailer and it is so much fun” and then he messaged Ekta saying, “Thank you, again!”
