10 New Restaurants In Mumbai To Try In February Before The Buzz Gets Too Loud

Mumbaikars are always on the hunt for the next great place to eat. We all need variety when it comes to dining. A new place opens, and before we know, tables are full, and there’s a 3-hr long waiting to grab a table. So here’s a list of new restaurants in Mumbai that need your immediate attention before the hype gets feral and you got to fight wait list. So here’s where you should go in Mumbai where a place is worth your calories!

10 New Restaurants In Mumbai To Try In February

1. August, Andheri

After a decade in Andheri, August Cafe, a neighbourhood favourite, now feels more thoughtful and less interested in trying too hard. Designed by Studio 6158, the new space leans into quiet comfort, blending with soft curves and sunlit corners. An open barista station pulls you into the coffee ritual instead of keeping it behind a counter. The 60-seater place is something you stop at before work, after a jog, or between meetings and end up lingering longer than imagined. The menu stays rooted in balance and comfort, but the mood is what really wins. Earthy reds, warm whites, retro tiles, and even a Scrabble-inspired washroom show its playful side without being loud.

Meanwhile, Borivali is a sun-drenched terrace fantasy with white walls, greenery, and Mediterranean calm. Chef Jyotika Malik’s café-forward menu keeps things familiar yet polished. Mixologist Harish Chhimwal’s drinks are the real scene-stealers. Olive still understands what Mumbai wants. Good food, strong drinks, and spaces that feel instantly welcoming.
