This milestone is indeed a testament to the hardworking airport personnel who work round the clock to ensure that passengers have a smooth travel experience. The high number of travellers is mainly due to the festive season. Many people travel to their homes to be with their families during the festive season.

This new milestone is clearly reflective of the capabilities of the staff and people in charge to handle a high volume of passengers. It also shows that the airport can, too, handle a high volume of air traffic without risking the safety of passengers or compromising the high standards that the airport has.

With Christmas and the New Year just around the corner, it would not be entirely unreasonable to think that the high air traffic will go down any time soon. However, given the proficiency of the folks over at the Mumbai Airport, it surely won’t be a problem.
