Under the esteemed patronage of Her Majesty the Queen Mother, Gyalyum Ashi Dorji Wangmo Wangchuck, the festival promises a dynamic gathering. This festival will bring together artists, writers, and cultural enthusiasts from around the world. This year’s festival embraces the theme of Mindfulness, inspired by His Majesty the King’s vision articulated in his 116th National Day Address. This theme encourages participants to explore deeper connections to self-awareness, compassion, and community well-being.

DLAF serves as a highlight of the Bhutan Echoes initiative. It aims to promote and preserve the cultural heritage of Bhutan through literature and the arts. The festival features a carefully curated program that enriches the creative landscape of this magical kingdom.
