Safa gave Kamiya Jani useful lessons on how to recognize a Dubaiite. She even told her what to do when you are in Dubai. The simple instruction to understand a real Emirati is by the amount of perfume you smell around a person. If you smell reeks of perfume then you have hit the bull’s eye because Dubaiites are obsessed with fragrances and smelling good.
Kamiya couldn’t wait to ask Safa about her obsession with perfume to which she replied that she has toned down the use owing to the birth of her newborn and its health concern. But Safa told us her husband likes it very much and uses different perfumes in one go. Blending perfumes is Emirati’s favourite sport it seems.
She told us how having a boat ride in Dubai will help you get a nice view of the Dubai Skyline and Marina. The tall buildings are bewitching. Safa loves how Dubai is a blend of Western and Arabic and both features are reflected in every aspect from food to architecture in Dubai.
