Dubai: Extended Hours For Public Parks For New Year’s Celebrations; Details Inside

Dubai public parks and recreational facilities, as announced by Dubai Municipality, are gearing up to welcome 2026 with a fantastic celebration. Complete with record-breaking fireworks, there will also be a first-ever drone show at the Dubai Frame. Keeping in line with the celebrations, the Dubai Municipality has also announced extended hours for public parks. They’ve also announced this for recreational facilities on December 31st and January 1st, 2026, and we are here to tell you all about this.

Timings Extended For Dubai Parks & Recreational Facilities

Timings have been extended for public parks and recreational facilities by the Dubai Municipality for New Year’s celebrations. The Dubai Frame, which will be hosting the first-ever drone show announced extended timings, and this will be from 8 AM to 9 PM. Here, visitors will be able to enjoy breathtaking fireworks and a unique drone show.

Extended Timings For Major Parks

Major parks have also announced extended timings, and these are as follows:

  • Al Safa Park
    Timings: 8 am to 1 am
  • Zabeel Park
    Timings: 8 am to 1 am
  • Creek Park & Mushrif National Park
    Timings: 8 am to 12 am
  • Al Mamzar Park
    Timings: 6 am to 12 am

Not only this, but residential parks and plazas will also enjoy extended timings from 8 AM to 12 AM.

Finally, children’s and educational parks and lake parks will also be enjoying extended timings, and these will be as follows:

  • Children’s City
    Timings: 9 am to 8 pm
  • Quranic Park Park
    Timings: 8 am to 12 am
  • Cave & Glass House
    Timings: 9 am to 8:30 pm

Lake & Neighbourhood Parks To Remain Open For Extended Hours

It should be noted that some lake and neighbourhood parks will continue to remain open for extended hours on December 31. And these include the following:

  • Leem Lake Park – Hatta
  • Al Khawaneej Pond Park
  • Al Warga Third Park 1
  • Al Wadi Park – Hatta
  • Ghadeer Al Tair Pond Park
  • Al Barsha Pond Park
  • Umm Suqeim Park
  • Al Khazan Park
  • Al Twar Pond Park
  • Al Nahda Pond Park
  • Al Satwa Park
  • Al Quoz Park 1

With the extended hours in place, residents and visitors will be able to enjoy the Dubai parks and leisure destinations. So, you can expect uninterrupted celebrations that is certainly worth not missing!
