Dubai Mall is undoubtedly one of the most popular shopping destinations in the emirate. It’s truly one of the world’s biggest malls. However, it’s all set to get even bigger in just a matter of two weeks! Yes, next month onwards, the popular all is going to add a new department, right at the beginning of Ramadan. Here’s more about this development regarding the Dubai Mall.

Dubai Mall To Get Even Bigger

Dubai Mall, which is one of the most popular malls in the world, will see 65 new shops and restaurants. These will be packed into the space beside the Dubai Mall Ice Rink and Level Shoes. As revealed in an Instagram post by Mohamed Alabbar, who is the founder of Emaar, the announcement came on Thursday, February 13th.

It is, however, worth mentioning that the announcement does not reveal what all brands will be making their way to the extended section. So when the brand-new section opens at the Dubai Mall, you will probably get to shop from some of the most exclusive brands and eat at renowned eateries after you break your fast during the holy month.

The Mall Announced An Expansion Last Year

In fact, the huge space will be located between Level Shoes and the watch brand Blancpain. This development comes after it was just the previous year when a massive AED1.5 billion expansion of Dubai Mall was announced. Yes, it was announced that 240 more retail and dining options would be introduced to the mall. No, the mall already has 1200 retail spaces. Yes, this includes two department stores and over 200 food and beverage outlets. In fact, the mall received over 111 million visitors in just 2024. It truly surpasses the previous record of 105 million visitors that was recorded the year before this.

So, once the mall opens, it will truly offer an even more enhanced shopping experience for the people.
