‘Dubai Mein Humare Paise Doob Gaye!’ Archana Puran Singh’s Family Falls Victim For Skydiving Scam

You know that saying, “Dubai is safe, nothing goes wrong here”? Well, Archana Puran Singh might not agree. The Bollywood queen, Archana Puran Singh recently swapped Swiss snow for Dubai’s sunshine with her fam, husband Parmeet Sethi and their two sons, Aryamann and Ayushmaan. But before they could say “Yalla, let’s skydive!” the family found themselves scammed. Yup. In Dubai. And it wasn’t a small hiccup; it cost them thousands of rupees and a whole lot of shock.

Archana Puran Singh’s Dubai Vacation Witnessed A Surprising Turn Of Events

Fresh off a vacation high, the Sethi squad touched down in Dubai and decided to kick off their holiday with something thrilling: indoor skydiving. Aryamann, their son, took charge of bookings and, like most of us do, went hunting for a good deal online. He found what looked like a fab offer with a Ramadan discount. Except, it wasn’t even Ramadan season.

At the venue, the lady behind the desk looked puzzled. No booking under their name. Archana was understandably rattled. “Did we just get scammed in Dubai?” she gasped, with Parmeet’s expression screaming, “Yeh kya hua bhai?” Reality hit harder than turbulence on a budget airline.

Turns out, they’d fallen for a slick fake website. Aryamann admitted he’d had a weird gut feeling when he selected a four-minute package, and the site suddenly changed it to two. But like many of us, he chalked it up to a glitch. Classic scammer move.

Dubai mein humare paise doob gaye,” Archana joked later, with the kind of humour only a seasoned Bollywood icon can muster after taking a financial hit. She confessed that she never expected this kind of fraud in Dubai, of all places.

Paneer Fixes Everything, Almost

Parmeet, the calm dad we all know and love, had an even more ironic take. “I literally made a show about online scams. And it happened with me?” he trailed off. When you can’t beat ’em, you pay cash. That’s exactly what he did, shelled out again for legit tickets so the family could still float around in that skydiving chamber with some shred of holiday joy.

But wait, the drama didn’t end there. After the session, the crew went food hunting. First stop? A café serving Alia Bhatt’s favourite dessert, the milk cake place. Because nothing says “I’m on vacation” like celebrity-approved sugar. And then, of course, Aryamann made sure to get his comfort food: a posh paneer tikka plate. Scam or no scam, man’s got his priorities straight.

Even while fuming over the con, Aryamann admitted the scammer had done a professional job. The website looked legit, the process was smooth, and even the fake offers seemed convincing. But hey, we feel you, Aryamann. You were just trying to score a thrill without breaking the bank.

Scammed, Skydived, Still Sassy

But in true Bollywood style, the show went on. The family didn’t let the scam ruin their holiday. They laughed it off, paid up, flew indoors, and ended the day with paneer and dessert. Because that’s how you do Dubai, scam or no scam.
