Dubai is all set to roll out UK’s Pfizer vaccine for the covid-19 virus from today. Dubai’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management issued a statement stating that the vaccine program will roll out from today. What’s more? The vaccine developed by US pharmaceutical company Pfizer and the German biotech company BioNTech will be given to the residents for free. So far, the vaccine is passed in countries including the US, UK, Saudi Arabia and Canada. Meanwhile, here are places in the UAE where you can get the covid-19 vaccine.

UAE Regulators State That Pfizer Vaccine Is 95 Per Cent Effective In Comparison To Sinophram Vaccine
For the covid vaccine, this is the second vaccine roll out in the UAE after China’s Sinopharm is being administered to all citizens and residents free of cost from December 9. The recent research also states that the Pfizer vaccine is nearly 95 per cent effective whereas, China-developed Sinopharm has 86 per cent potency.

The China-developed Sinopharm vaccines need to be stored at temperatures of only 2 to 8 degrees Celsius. It can remain stable for up to three years. Whereas Pfizer vaccine, which is made, with genetic materials requires industrial freezers. The vaccine must remain at cold temperatures, which is a negative 70 degrees Celsius.

The UAE regulators state that Pfizer’s results show its coronavirus vaccine is 95 per cent effective in preventing Covid-19. It is effective after two doses, administered 21 days apart, with no severe safety concerns. In terms of the vaccine, the UAE is also one of the first countries to start a mass vaccination drive after Britain.
