Sheikh Hamdan, the Crown prince of Dubai is an adventure and food lover. His Instagram reflects quite a lot about his interests. If you scroll through well you will find the prince to be visiting Chef Izu Ani’s restaurant a lot of time. The royalty has graced Chef’s restaurant on opening ceremonies and other occasions as well. He was observed visiting one of the Chef’s restaurants twice within a week of its opening. Even HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid has accompanied his son to these diners many a time.  Due to his special connections with the royal family and his immense contribution to the F&B industry, Chef Izu Ani was awarded Golden Visa.

1. GAIA

This brainchild of Chef Izu set out on a global expansion right 6 months after its launch in Dubai. The brand spread its feathers across Monte-Carlo and now in Doha. The menu evidently curated by Chef Izu itself reflects Grecian elements in the food served. The menu and interior have been kept minimalistic with a pinch of flavours. If you are lucky enough, then you might spot the members of the royal family here as they keep visiting this diner for lunch.

2. Carine

The name of the restaurant will always remain special for Chef Izu as it was titled after the name of his Lady-love, his wife Carine. The French Mediterranean serving diner is close to the chef’s heart for multiple reasons.  While curating the dishes for this restaurant Chef found the recipe for success. The reflections of the French are not only visible in food but also in the atmosphere of Carine.

3. Izu Brasserie & Bakery

The culinary hero has made a point to give equal importance to all his restaurants then whether it is a luxury dining place or a simplistic brasserie with blackboard and rugged brick walls. His excellent food adds the charm that even the royalty of Dubai can’t resist visiting. The approach at Izu Brasserie is different but fresh. The casual eatery provides a lot of colourful food that looks scrumptious.
