Dubai RTA To Introduce 3 New Routes From November 29
Dubai RTA plans to introduce three new bus routes from November 29, as announced on Tuesday, November 26. The new bus route also includes a connection from Satwa Bus Station to the Global Village, under Route 108. It will be operating on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays besides the public holidays and during special events. The services on this route will be from 2 PM to 1 AM and there will be 11 trips in each direction. With a 60-minute frequency, travelling to one of the most popular winter destinations in Dubai is going to be easier.
The other two bus routes that will be introduced are Route F63 and Route J05. The former is the Dubai Metro feeder service connecting Al Ras Metro Station and Union Bus Station through Al Khaleej Street and Naif Street. On the other hand, Route J05 will connect Dubai Studio City and Mira Community. Yes, and it will pass through Neshama Townhouses.
Changes To Other Routes
In fact, there are even plans to streamline other bus routes and these are as follows:
- Route 5 will be adjusted in such a way that it will ply in both directions between Union Bus Station and Abu Hail Station.
- Route 14 will operate in both directions. It will then end at Business Bay Metro Station.
- Route 33 has been shortened and now it will end at the Karma Bus Station. It should be noted that earlier it used to end at the Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
- Route 91 will cover the Business Bay when moving in the direction of Jebel Ali Bus Station. It will also serve the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre stop in both directions.
- Route J02 has been shortened. And it will be running between Dubai Production City and Arabian Ranches. This will ensure a faster commute between the two areas. It has been adjusted in such a way that it also includes the sports city, simultaneously reducing the number of stops in Dubai Studio City.
- Route F38 has also been adjusted so that it can serve the Al Jurf Heights Group.
- Route F39 has been modified so that it can include Etihad Mall.
- Route X92 has also been modified for it to serve the DMCC Metro Stop while moving towards Al Ghubaiba Bus Station.
So, take note of these changes and new rules as travelling is going to be much easier for people who commute by this public transport on the aforementioned routes.
