Keeping up with this, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum who is the Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE and the Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai has approved a series of new plans. Yes, with the aim of boosting the Emirate’s leadership in several sectors, one of the major highlights includes the Suspended Transport System, Cashless Strategy, and Integrated Real Estate strategy, to name some.

Suspended Transport System Is Coming To Dubai

While the Crown Prince of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad bin Rashid Al Maktoum has given a green light for several strategies, the one that has been creating quite a stir is the Smart Mobile Strategy. Yes, it is expected that by 2030, Dubai will be able to automate 25% of all trips. This will be done through the implementation of the newly approved 65 km system that will connect Umm Suqeim Street, Al Khor and Zabeel. What is novel about the new system is that it will increase the share of public transport journeys in Dubai to 26%. Not to mention, it will also be integrated with other modes of transportation to help people move around the emirate efficiently.

Besides this, the aim is also to make Dubai Cashless. Yes, the Dubai Cashless Strategy aims to position Dubai as one of the top five cashless cities globally by 2033. Moreover, the Dubai National Archives Project also aims to preserve the history and heritage of the Emirate. In accordance with the highest global standards, documenting and archiving the Emirates government records, achievements, history, and cultural heritage, they aim to preserve the story, so that it can be passed down to future generations. This project directly contributes to the Dubai 2033 Plan, which is included in the social economic agenda.
