Expo City Dubai Launches Nature-Focused Winter Camp At Terra With Art, Science And Fun

Taking away screen time from your kids can result in tantrums and shouting. But not if you swap it with an interesting event filled with attention-grabbing activities. Terra at Expo City Dubai has announced its Winter Edition Camp, and it’s actually offering kids something better to look forward to.

Expo City’s Winter Camp Wants Kids Outside Again To Explore Nature

From 8 December 2025 to 2 January 2026, the camp runs every weekday and invites kids aged 5 to 12 into a world that’s filled with surprising activities that are beyond the fun of scrolling. They’ll spend their days poking around pond life, watching bees work their magic, and figuring out why fungi are more fascinating than they sound.

Each day comes with a theme. One day, they’ll paint, next, they’ll build twig sculptures or check out goats. They’ll learn about native plants, weather patterns, camping basics, and the kind of nature skills that help them look at the outdoors with a new vision.

Activities That Kids Actually Enjoy

Kids join groups based on age, and the entries start from 5 to 7 or 8 to 12. A warm, well-trained team guides them through everything, blending learning with just the right amount of chaos that makes childhood fun.

On top of the nature-based curriculum, the camp brings in a few crowd favourites. AFC coaches add sports sessions that burn off the extra energy kids somehow produce at all hours. Dubai Police steps in with a K9 show that always gets wide-eyed stares, along with self-defence sessions that teach confidence.

And then there’s Nikon, offering hands-on photography workshops. Of course, there’s daily free play at Taqa Island, the nature-inspired playground that basically turns curiosity into a full-body activity.
