Dubai Airshow is coming soon to Dubai, and it’s truly one of the most talked-about events in the aviation industry. However, when it comes to food, this will be supplied by the Emirates Flight Catering, and they are on a mission to blend extraordinary scale with precision. As the Dubai Airshow opens its doors on November 17th. Here’s a look at how Emirates is crafting impressive meals for the event, where there will be incredible aircraft displayed and billion-dollar deals.

Emirates Flight Catering To Serve 3,00,000+ Meals At Dubai Airshow

Emirates Flight Catering is on a mission to prepare more than 3,00,000 meals for a diverse audience of aviation and aerospace executives. The list of guests also includes government officials, ministers, industry professionals, military delegations, guests, and visitors from more than 98 countries. This is an incredible fit, and for this, it requires building two centralised kitchens from scratch. Here, nearly 2,600 staff members will be deployed, and they will be catering to more than 15 chalets, country pavilions, and exhibition stands.

35,000+ Meals Have Already Been Pre-Booked

This is truly a significant scale where more than 35,000 meals have already been pre-booked for chalets and the country pavilion. In fact, 74 interns have also been recruited from prestigious hospitality institutions, and on-site infrastructure has also been built in less than two weeks! However, the robust workforce of professionals and well-trained interns will be working together to serve the massive number of guests. Talking about the on-site infrastructure, it includes refrigerated zones for pastry, cold operations, an independent power supply, dishwasher areas, and dedicated storage, to name a few.

Global Flavours On The Menu

With global flavours on the menu, the culinary roster includes elaborate Middle Eastern Mezze Spread complementing Lamb Kofta Kebab, Chinese dishes that feature were cooking, Indian Chicken Pistachio Kormas, and Emirati Tandoori Lobster with Saffron Rice. It should be noted that exhibition halls would get on-demand service with e with basket orders, fresh pastries, and bespoke catering, bringing seven food experiences to the Dubai Airshow, these include

  • Origami (Japanese Cuisine)
  • Onda (premium coffee)
  • Yann Couvreur Pastry & Barista Experience
  • Dibba Oyster Bar (showcasing local Fujairah producers)
  • In-house salmon and caviar lounge
  • Bustanica Salad Bar (with poke bowl-style options)
  • Middle Eastern and Persian BBQ station

So, it’s truly a mammoth of a task, but knowing how Emirates performs on a daily basis, it’s not wrong to assume that they will be doing a good job of it
