Hong Kong based manufacturer- Coronet Jewellery is the brain behind the glittery product. “This diamond toilet is one of my favourite Guinness World Record products,” says Aaron Shum, president of Coronet Jewellery and The Amazing Museum & Art Gallery Dubai.

The idea was inspired from Andy Lau’s Chinese song Toilet which has the wordings ‘Toilet is your friend’. The studded toilet was first unveiled in Shanghai Import Expo, China, in 2019. It will now stay in Dubai for a short period, after which it go to various places in the world.

Coronet Jewellery boasts 10 other world records for titles including:

1. The world’s most valuable guitar ($2 million)
2. Most diamonds on a handbag
3. Most diamonds set on a mobile phone case.

Wondering if this might be a wee bit uncomfortable to use? Thankfully, its ONLY an art piece and is not meant for use.
