Shout out to all the yoga freaks in town! Grab your yoga mats and head to the beach as the third edition of XYoga is here and it’s FREE!
What’s It?
Ditch the gym and get outdoors for a fun workout under the sun. The third edition of XYoga will be held on 1 February & 2 February from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Kite beach. Visitors can register for classes, workshops and other fun activities, from dawn to dusk, amidst a scenic backdrop. You will also get to learn about the human body from renowned yoga instructors and enjoy a holistic yoga experience.
Last year, the two-day festival saw over 10,000 people spread across 60 sessions, led by local and international yogis, including the world’s oldest yoga instructor, 99-year-old Tao Porchon-Lynch. This year, the event will be led by Laura Sykora, the yoga celeb who rose to fame when she struck yoga poses with her daughter on Instagram, Janet Stone- a dedicated yoga practitioner since 1996, Garth Hewitt– the creator of the Shiva Yoga system, wellness expert Davidji, and the famous star trainer Deepika Mehta.
As a teaser to the main festival, the event organizers XDubai and Dubai Holding conducted a warm-up session on December 21 2018, at the Ripe Market at Police Academy Park.
