Offering a range of premium licensed hotels and restaurants and sea view vistas, the destination promises to be the ultimate sunset spot in Dubai.
Palm West Beach Is Opening In Dubai This Week
Opening to the public later this week, Palm West Beach will be home to the ultimate UAE staycation the entire family can enjoy with all-day beachfront entertainment, water sports, and the best Dubai skyline views. The walkable waterfront destination comprises 1.6 km of promenade and beachfront. Palm West Beach is pet friendly, and home to a stunning tree lined promenade, with 300 palm trees which will illuminate the walking and running trail in the evening.
Bring on the beach at a true play and stay concept destination, where visitors can enjoy round the clock fun on morning runs, lazy beachfront breakfasts, cosying up with a favourite book, building sandcastles, and picture-perfect sunsets, at Palm West Beach. Visitors can choose from an array of water view restaurants including: the recently opened – Koko Bay, and the upcoming Jones The Grocer, Aprons and Hammers, Lucky Fish, Señor Pico, Orange Chameleon, among others.
Palm West Beach will also include eight 5-star Hotels: Fairmont The Palm, Five Palm Jumeirah, SOHO Palm Jumeirah, Adagio Aparthotels, Byblos, Hilton Palm Jumeirah, and One Palm. Dubai To Get World’s Largest Fountain With Over 3,000 LED Lights
And in case you’re looking for other exciting things to do over the weekend, the world’s largest fountain is also launching this October. The multi-colored fountain will be docked at The Pointe, from Thursday October 22. Apart from being the world’s largest, the fountain will also attempt to make it to the Guinness World Records title.

The Fountain Is Lit Up By More Than 3,000 LED Lights
If its the world’s largest it has to be grand, right? Well, the fountain spells grandeur in every possible way. Firstly, it is lit up by more than 3,000 LED lights. Furthermore, the fountain is spread across 14,000 square feet of sea water and scales up to a height of 105 meters.
Besides, this will be the only multi-colored fountain in Dubai and guests can enjoy 20 shows, with five different performances everyday between 7pm and midnight. Each show will last three minutes and shows will be scheduled every 30 minutes. The dancing fountain will groove to the tunes of a range of music including pop, classic, Khaleeji and international.

On the day it launches which is on 22 October, guests can expect a whole range of activities. Starting 4:00 pm, guests can enjoy events and deals, live entertainment, DJ sets, fireworks and more. The first official fountain show will kick off at 8 pm. And, those staying in and around Nakheel, can enjoy free shuttle buses from Nahkeel Mall to The Pointe every 30 minutes.
