Dubai has now eased restrictions on fine dining, bars, and live events. While the authorities have eased the restrictions- however, rules like wearing face masks and social distancing still need to be followed everywhere. And recently, it was also announced that Dubai bars would need proof of vaccination from guests; this applies to live events too. And on this, here’s what senior doctors have to say.

Dubai Bars And Events Should Ask For Vaccine Proof On The Al Hosn App
As per the reports, a senior doctor suggests that Dubai bars and live events should ask for proof of vaccination from guests via the Al Hosn app. As per the report in The National, Dr Hanan Al Suwaidi, head of vaccination and testing, told Dubai Eye radio,
“Everyone who got the vaccine received an electronic certificate on their devices, that’s linked to Al Hosn, that also can prove that you have your vaccine completed.”

Furthermore, the doctor also said that since the electronic system is in place, everybody has an e-certificate, hence asking for paper certificates shouldn’t be a thing.
Vaccinated Tourists Should Also Register On The App
When it comes to the Al Hosn app, vaccinated tourist should also register on the app by entering the unified number (UID) placed on their visit visa. Alternatively, they should use other means of electronic vaccination certificate to enter bars and live events.

Vaccinated residents can now sit at the bar, and when it comes to the non-vaccinated guests, they can only sit within the socially distanced areas of the restaurants. The rules for the same will be in place till at least June 17. And if everything is followed as per the protocols, Dubai will be able to return to normalcy soon.
