It has been about 4 months since the work has begun. To add glam and intricacies to the interiors of the pandal, artists are curating exquisite designs using jhinuk. Well, not just the interiors, even the 32-foot idol is getting decked up with jhinuk as well.

The Maa Durga murti will have ten globes in her ten hands to symbolise the different aspects of the Earth, shared Mr. Rakesh Singh, the Chief Organiser. It will also show Maa’s association with world power. The concept of Maa Durga with 10 globes on her 10 hands is to represent ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’ – The World is one family. This shows how she is protecting all the 10 globes from all kinds of difficulties and problems. He also added that along with all these additions around the pandal, the members are also adding a model of Chandrayaan-3 outside the pandal. This is to celebrate ISRO’s splendid achievement.
