eating outside

‘This or that’ trend on Instagram has taken over reels. One content creator poked fun at this trend when she had to choose between “Eating at home” or “Eating outside” and what she did next has surprised Netizens and left them chuckling at the cheeky interpretation.

Woman Chooses “Eating Outside” Over “Eating At Home” & Reel Surprised Netizens

Digital creator Nagma Nasser shared a reel on Instagram where she is given two slips and has to make a choice between “Eating at home” or “Eating outside”. With a big, shy smile, she chooses “Eating outside”. While you’d assume, she probably went to a restaurant for her meal, that’s funnily enough not the case. The next shot shows her sitting on a chair outside her home, in her pyjamas, tucking into a homecooked meal with her fingers. Looks like she took “eating outside” home quite literally. She is eating the exact same homecooked meal outside her home rather than in it.

This reel with its unexpected plot twist, caught Netizens by surprise. They didn’t see it coming and neither did we! Many took to the comments section to share their hilarious reactions. One Instagrammer called it “Biryani with birds.” Others joked that it seemed to be a situation Indian parents would impose on their kids if they wanted to eat outside. Some termed it as an “Expectation vs Reality” reel. Another person said that Nagma was like her who only focused on the food and not the ambience. Comedian Abish Mathew commented, “Haha.”

Some Instagrammers Slammed Her For Eating With Hands & Were Schooled By Others

But there were certain Netizens who slammed her for eating with her hands. There were some appalling comments calling her “uncivilised” and “uncultured” for eating with her fingers. Many took her side by reminding them that food like chicken wings, burgers and pizzas were also eaten with hands. Some people commented that eating with one’s hands is part of a person’s culture and people must be polite.
