Emirates knows how to sweeten the deal—literally. From January 28th to February 3rd, travellers on select routes will be treated to special desserts that are as beautiful as they are tasty. First and business-class passengers will indulge in luxurious lychee, rose, and raspberry mousse cake, paired with a buttery pâte sablée and a white chocolate finish. Meanwhile, Economy Class guests can enjoy a comforting taro coconut sago with sweetened fruits and red beans. Talk about a dessert that feels as lucky as it tastes!But that’s not all, Emirates also brings the tradition of red envelopes to the skies! Available on certain routes, these envelopes come filled with chocolate coins, symbolising the sharing of prosperity.
Lunar Specials In Emirates Lounges

If you’re lucky enough to be flying through one of Emirates’ luxurious lounges, you’re in for a treat. On January 29th, Emirates lounges in Dubai, Singapore, Bangkok, Shanghai, Beijing, and Hong Kong will offer exclusive Lunar New Year menus.
1.In Dubai, First Class passengers can enjoy soya glazed beef short ribs or pan-seared Chilean seabass with XO sauce, while Business Class guests can feast on Chinese rainbow salad or poached shrimp and vegetable dumplings. The cherry on top? Matcha green tea ice cream made fresh by Emirates chefs.
2. In Singapore, savour king prawns with fragrant soya, followed by orange almond crumble cake, symbolizing good fortune.
3. In Hong Kong, dive into scallops with broccoli and shiitake mushrooms or traditional rice dumplings served in fragrant osmanthus flower soup.
These Lunar-inspired dishes will not only make your travel experience richer but also bring the celebratory flavours of the season to life.
For those flying, Emirates has taken things up a notch with its entertainment lineup. Travellers can enjoy up to 22 Mandarin and 13 Cantonese movies, including popular titles like Ride On, All Shall Be Well, and We Are Family. If you’re in the mood for music, there’s a library of 115 Chinese albums and over 1,000 songs to set the mood for a festive journey.
