The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) awards ceremony in Dubai presented Emirates Group with five top awards for health and safety performance. Two of these awards were the Gold Awards, which are considered prestigious.
Emirates is the only airline in the world to have achieved a gold award for its performance in terms of health and safety in the transportation industry on an annual basis for the past four years. It received gold awards for health and safety performance as well as for leisure safety.
The other three awards bagged by the popular airline include a safety influencer of the year award for one of the Emirates team members and a trophy for best fleet safety in the Middle East.

The total health and safety performance for all service components that influence both personnel and customers is covered by the gold award for health and safety performance. The gold medal for leisure safety honours services provided directly to visitors and guests and rewards health and safety achievements.
For the substantial transport support and safety precautions put in place during COVID-19 for the Emirates Group, a highly commended award was received in the Middle East under the category of health and safety initiatives.
For outstanding achievement in reducing occupational road risk in the Middle East, the trophy award for fleet safety was given out. Roshan Menon, Manager of Transport Services, received the influencer of the year award for his efforts to promote safety in the Middle East.
The Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA), a UK-based institution, is dedicated to advancing occupational health and safety, as well as road, home, recreational, and educational safety, on a global scale.
