Emirates & Etihad Airways To Operate Limited Flights To & From UAE; Here’s All About It!

It was revealed recently by Emirates that it will be operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice. And Etihad Airways has also now revealed that it will be following a similar pattern. Here’s what the two major carriers in the UAE have mentioned, which brings relief to the stranded passengers in the country.

What Does The Emirates Advisory Say?

Emirates, which is the flagship carrier of Dubai, has confirmed that it will be operating reduced flight schedule. This is until further notice and it follows after the partial reopening of the regional airspace. In fact, just on March 5th and 6th, the airline revealed that more than 100 flights will operate to and from Dubai.

The services would carry passengers who are travelling to their final destinations, along with essential cargos, such as perishables and pharmaceuticals. However, the airline is expected to gradually rebuild its flying schedule. This would depend on the airspace availability and operational requirements that are to be met. However, passengers of the airline have been asked to proceed to the airport only if they have confirmed bookings.

What About The Limited Number Of Flights By Etihad Airways?

On the other hand, Abu Dhabi-based airline, Etihad Airways, has also announced that it would resume a limited commercial flight schedule from March 6th. Operating between Abu Dhabi and a number of international destinations, passengers with previous bookings will be accommodated on new flights as soon as possible. Not to mention, tickets are also on sale on the website. However, just like Emirates, the Abu Dhabi-based airline has also asked travellers not to travel to the airport unless they’ve been contacted directly by the airline, or they hold a confirmed booking on one of the resumed flights.
