Emirates Renews Partnership With TUI Cruises, And Here’s What It Means For Cruise Customers

Emirates, as always, is trying its best to ensure that it offers splendid service to its customers. To ensure that this customer service extends beyond the flight, they have renewed strategic partnerships with TUI Cruises. Moreover, it recently also entered into a partnership with Expedia Group to deliver a simple and more personalised booking experience. But before we dive into the latter, it’s important to focus on what the extension of partnership with TUI Cruises means for you.

Emirates Extends Partnership With TUI Cruises

As TUI Cruises expands in Dubai with the addition of a second vessel, Emirates will continue to work closely with them. This will be across several areas, such as marketing initiatives, operational strategies, and even planning. The airline will ensure that flight schedules coordinate with TUI Cruises’ itinerary that can result in optimal connectivity between air and sea segments for customers. It also plans to collaborate on cruise blocks, which are a form of dedicated capacity to meet the demands of key markets.

Offering a more enhanced ground transportation solution between Port Rashid Cruise Terminal and Dubai International Airport, Emirates will work with its Dubai stakeholders for this purpose. In addition to this, specialised support personnel will also be deployed for cruise passengers. This will enable a more streamlined check-in process. As it happens, Emirates already has dedicated remote check-in facilities at Port Rashid. Yes, the 16 dedicated check-in counters allow cruise passengers to process luggage and secure the boarding pass up to four hours before the departure. This allows them the opportunity to explore Dubai without being burdened after they return.

Emirates Recently Entered Into Partnership With Expedia Group

This extension of the strategic partnership comes at a time when the Dubai-based airline has also entered into a partnership with Expedia Group. What this means for customers is that it will allow millions of travellers to unlock a wide range of options and benefits. Expedia Group will now be able to offer Emirates NDC fares, extra baggage, and seat selection, to name some. Not to mention, there are also going to be improved features and flexibility in the booking journey! Exploring a deeper connection, they are set to explore collaboration in loyalty programmes to enhance travel rewards. This will be for both companies’ customers.

Through these partnerships, the airline tries to ensure that its customers have a great travel experience, one that is beyond just its flight.
