Art Lovers, Dubai is turning out to be a paradise filled with art installations. This art event is going to change the cultural landscape of the Emirates. *Drumrolls* Dubai Public Art is making its way to the Emirates. Now Dubai will be visible as an open and accessible space full of art. It’s time to witness exceptional art in Dubai. So are you ready?

Art Lovers, Gather In Dubai!

Dubai Public Art, a government organisation in the United Arab Emirates, seeks to make the city a public, open, and international art gallery. The goal is to provide a space where locals and guests may enjoy remarkable works of art.

The brand-new project is a partnership with Tashkeel, Art Dubai, Al Serkal Avenue, Jameel Arts Centre, and Akaas Visual Arts.  These entities have issued open invitations to all artists to take part in displaying a number of distinctive, site-specific art installations which will be dispersed throughout Dubai.

Can you guess the amount invested in the project? A whopping amount of Dhs2 million was invested in this public art programme. And what should you expect from this high-rated event in the Emirates? Let us guide you with that!

As a part of Dubai Public Art, local artists will work in collaboration with Dubai Culture and Art Dubai to improve and enrich Dubai’s visual culture. So you know you can expect some highly immersive art to enjoy here. And what’s better? If you are interested to submit your own art then you are more than welcome to this event. But you gotta hurry up as the application closes in February 2023.

Emiratis can submit their artwork before 13th February. Your artwork would be on display at one of Dubai’s most stunning public gardens, Al Hudaiba. Each of the shortlisted artists will get a sum of US$5,000 to produce a thorough concept and a prototype of their works when the 16th edition of Art Dubai is revealed from March 1 to 5.
