We aren’t surprised with the technology hub, Dubai getting its first flying car in the air. The ground-breaking eVTOL flying car X2 made its first open flight on Monday at Skydive Dubai. The innovation gets its design from Chinese electric vehicle maker XPeng. The X2 flying automobile accomplished its successful test after ushering in a brand-new thrilling era of short-haul trips and cognitive sustainable mobility.

An important turning point in the history of transportation and public transit finally came into observation in Dubai. With assistance from the Dubai World Trade Center Authority, Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, and XPeng, the event was co-organized.
The International Chamber dug its hands into the organisation of this event. One of the three chambers functioning under Dubai Chambers is the Dubai International Chamber.
Chinese consul general Li Xu Hang was present, along with the acting president and CEO of Dubai Chambers Hassan Al Hashemi. The event also had the presence of the vice chairman and president of XPeng Dr Brian Gu. The deputy CEO of Dubai Industries and Exports Mohammad Al Kamali also graced the test flight with their presence.

The Flight Lasted For 90 Mins
The X2 finished its landmark 90-minute public test flight after departing from Dubai. However, the flight has only a 35-minute duration time and is strategically crafted of premium carbon fibre. You can observe a fitted airframe parachute. Finally, the automated two-seater flying car has a live load of 760 kg. Also, it has a 560 kg empty weight, and a 130 km/h top flight speed.
