We all know about the ongoing Dubai Airshow. And during the ongoing event, Etihad Airways, which is also celebrating 20 years of flying, recently revealed the first of its three new Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners. Boasting new interiors, these aircraft will soon be joining the airline’s fleet! Some of the exciting features include best-in-class cabins with Business Suits that offer privacy doors and streamlined Economy Seats. Here’s everything you need to know about the new aircraft interiors of the Dreamliners.

Etihad Airways Unveils New Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners Interiors

Etihad Airways recently unveiled its newest Boeing 787-9 Dreamliners, which is one of the four new Dreamliners that will be joining its fleet. The national airline of the UAE showcased the new interiors following its arrival in October! As it happens, the cabin interiors revealed the enhancement to its award-winning cabins. It features new cabin interiors with 32 seats in the Business Class and 271 seats in the Economy. Both of these will offer best-in-class experience for flyers of the airline.

The Business Cabins Have Seen Some Amazing Upgrades

Coming to the Business Cabin, guests will be offered a comfortable and spacious environment in the signature Etihad style. Featuring a unique and customised version of the element seat, which has been manufactured by Collins, it is the first airline to introduce the element seat on the Boeing 787. Not to mention, these new seats will also offer a greater level of space and comfort with additional privacy. Yes, this will be achieved by the suit door and an increased suit height! As it happens, each of these business seats has direct aisle access and declines fully to the life-in-flat bed 78’ in length. So, featuring a 17.3 4K TV screen, Bluetooth headphone pairing, wireless charging, and even multiple charging ports, the cabin also has plenty of storage.

What About The Economy Class Seats?

Talking about the Economy class, the seats in this class have four inches of additional legroom! This will help the guests with exceptional comfort and the slimmer profile seats that also offer an increased feeling of space for everyone. Moreover, the latest infant entertainment technology from Safran also includes a Rave Ultra 13.3 4K touchscreen monitor. These come with an option of pairing them with personal phones and tablets to the screen so that they can be used as a remote. Moreover, it has been fitted with a new connectivity solution from Viasat which uses Ka-band technology, thereby offering high-speed Wi-Fi with streaming capabilities. Not to mention, guests can also enjoy complimentary chat packages with the help of Wi-Fly!

In case you weren’t aware, Etihad Airways added 12 new destinations this year and there have been an addition of four new routes to India. These also include Boston and Nairobi where operations will begin in the coming months. Moreover, the airline added operations in multiple markets with additional flight frequencies for improved connectivity across its network.
