Etihad Rail recently shared a post on Twitter wherein they revealed a breathtaking shot of Al Bithnah Bridge. As such, this bridge is expected to play an important role in transforming transportation services in Fujairah, as it will be connecting the city to the national rail network. Besides this bridge, the UAE will also be housing Al Qudra Bridge, which is also going to be the longest rail bridge in Dubai’s mainline network. As it happens, this update comes after we previously announced the completion of this rail network.

Talking about the services, there are many benefits of this transportation service. This UAE Railway Program aims to build a series of national networks of railways by linking the seven emirates. With Dubai and Abu Dhabi connected, this will enhance and facilitate the transportation process between the two economic centres. Moreover, the sleek, grey and silver carriage will travel at a speed of up to 200 kilometres per hour and will be able to accommodate 400 people. Regarded as one of the greatest infrastructural developments, this ambitious programme will certainly reap economic benefits for businessmen and leisurely benefits for travellers.

As such, we had also previously announced that the cargo line is also fully functional ever since it was inaugurated by Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum in February. With the expected carbon emission to be cut by up to 80%, the passenger service is expected to begin in 2030 but a date is yet to be formally announced.
