Brammibal's Donuts

Doughnuts are a delicious treat that everyone loves. Whether you enjoy them with a cup of coffee in the morning, as a snack during the day, or as a dessert after dinner, there’s no denying that doughnuts are a crowd-pleaser. Now, the room is open for more delicious and creative vegan doughnuts. Enter Brammibal’s Donuts, Europe’s first all-vegan doughnut shop.

The Story Of Europe’s First Vegan Doughnuts

Opened as a small stall in 2015 in the Turkish food market, Brammibal’s Donuts now has many outlets across the city of Berlin.  It is Europe’s first vegan doughnut. Founded by Bram van Montfort and Jessica Samhaber, the aim was simple — to create a sustainable and ethical business that focused on plant-based products.

More Than Vegan Doughnuts

It is to be noted that the city of Berlin is not just the capital of Germany but is famed for its vegan offerings among the top European cities.  These doughnuts have become popular not just in Berlin, but across Europe as well. In 2019, the bakery opened a second outpost in Vienna, Austria. The Vienna store offers a slightly different menu than the Berlin one but still features Brammibal’s signature vegan doughnuts.

Brammibal’s Donuts has become a leader in the vegan food scene in Europe, inspiring other businesses to follow in its footsteps. Now, it’s not just a bakery, but a symbol of the growing movement towards more sustainable and ethical food choices.
