It was on Sunday morning when we came to know about the saddening death of a teacher at the New Delhi railway station. She lost her life by electrocution after stepping on a loose wire mistakenly. Coming in contact with a wire in the railway station became the primary reason for the electrocution incident followed by death. Unfortunately, even a tragic and heartbreaking incident like this has not made the concerned authorities properly aware of the condition of the wires stranded here and there during this rainy season.

The news of Sakshi Ahuja, a 35-year-old teacher has shocked everyone around us. Such a terrifying accident is unfortunate and concerned people need to be very cautious to protect the wires and electrical boxes properly, especially in the times of monsoon season. Improper electricity services in contact with water can be a worse blunder than what happened on Sunday. Heartbreakingly, the situation has not been taken care of properly yet. According to a report by The Times Of India, the condition of the junction boxes are not up to the mark. To cover these boxes, electricians used cardboard pieces and tape.
