As mentioned in a report by Gulf News, with an AED 18.3 billion investment, Dubai will welcome 310 new parks and 120 open spaces to make sure 80% of residents live within a five-minute walk of a park. The ultimate goal is to make Dubai one of the world’s most sustainable and resident-friendly cities.

2. Qatar Joins World’s Top 20 In Digital Competitiveness

Qatar has secured 20th rank in the IMD World Digital Competitiveness Ranking 2025. Its transformation from 26th rank to 20th in a year is really commendable. According to Peninsula Qatar, the country’s digital innovation and economic efficiency are reflected through this achievement. Not just this, Qatar has stood 13th in Knowledge and 14th in future readiness in terms of advanced infrastructure and tech.

3. Oman To Celebrate National Day With A 2-Day Holiday For The First Time

For the first time in the history of Oman, the region will celebrate National Day with a 2-day public holiday on November 20th and 21st. According to a report by Daji World, the celebration honours the 1650 expulsion of Portuguese forces, a pivotal moment that restored Oman’s sovereignty. The holiday will highlight Omani pride, heritage, and unity, paying tribute to Imam Sultan Bin Saif.
