Hatta is one of the most popular places around Dubai that is perfect for a short getaway. Home to some of the most picturesque landscapes in the UAE, many people tend to visit this small town on weekends for an offbeat experience. And, now you will also be able to rent mobility means like bikes or e-scooters when you visit Hatta.

Dubai RTA Starts Operating Individual Mobility Stations

Dubai Roads & Transport Authority has begun operations of individual mobility stations for bikes and e-scooters at 11 points along a 9 kilometres route in the town. Yes, what this means is that people visiting the breathtaking landscape will be able to take in its beauty by renting these individual mobility means. This includes bikes, e-scooters, and mountain bikes, which total up to 600 shared mobility means. Moreover, 250 e-scooters, 250 bikes, and 150 mountain bikes can also be driven on tracks that stretch about 11.5 kilometres.

What this means is that people visiting the area will be able to explore the beauty of this small town at their own pace and even take a rest at one of the pitstops spread across the tourist hotspots in the region. At this point, it should be mentioned that there are several sites where these stations are located. Some of these 11 sites include the Hatta Heritage Village, next to Wadi Hatta Park, Hatta Hill Park, the public bus station, and Hatta Valley.

11 Sites From Where You Can Rent These E-Scooters!

As mentioned above, these 11 sites of individual mobility stations are located along a 9 km route in Hatta. As a result, people will have a diverse range of options for exploring the beauty of this small town. It should be mentioned that when this was still in its trial face in the first quarter of 2023, bike and e-scooter stations gained quite a significant turnout from the community. Yes, as a result, 1,902 trips were recorded in the first quarter with 984 trips being on the e-scooters and 918 trips being on bikes and mountain bikes.
